Driving to Fundy-St. Martins

The most direct route is via Route 111 from Saint John or Sussex, New Brunswick, Canada. This is a secondary road with minimal traffic.

More than four times the combined flow of all the world’s freshwater rivers flow into the Bay of Fundy at high tide.
The tide rises and falls every 6 hours and 13 minutes, creating new times high and low tides every day. In St. Martins, the difference between high and low tide can be as much as 11.5 m (38 feet). You’ll want to consider the tide times in planning your trip so you can experience the full range of activities and natural beauty of St. Martins.
